Corporate Profile
- Our company was established in 1947 (the twenty-second year of Showa) by employees of the former Mitsui & Co., following that company's dissolution by the Zaibatsu (financial combine) dissolution laws. Along with former employees of IHI Corp., the employees from the machinery and trade divisions of the former Mitsui & Co. were central figures in the new company's establishment. Over the succeeding years, KBK has built a unique style and reputation as a trading company specializing in engineering; a company that not only handles sales of products but also provides technological support services. For the past 50 years we have responded to the various needs of our business customers in Japan and overseas.
