Our company was established in 1947 (22nd year of Showa) by
employees of former Mitsui & Co., following that company's dissolution by
the Zaibatsu (financial combine) dissolution laws. Along with former employees
of Ishikawajima Heavy Industries Co., employees from the machinery and trade divisions
of former Mitsui & Co. were central figures in the establishment of this new
company. Since our establishment, KBK has built up its unique style and reputation
as a trading company specializing in engineering, which not only handles sales
of products but also provides technological support services. For the past 50
years, we have responded to the various needs of our business customers, both
domestic and overseas.
