Resins and paints
The Plastics Department sells an extensive range of resin, paint, and treated
plastic products for use in the automobile, office automation, home appliance,
and cosmetics industries. In particular, the department acts as the sole distributor
of Fujikura Kasei Co., Ltd.'s plastic paints to automobile manufacturers and others
in the Kanto region of Japan and beyond. |

 "Super
Tech Mirror" reflective tape for automotive molding (mfd. by Japan Wavelock
Co., Ltd.)
Japan Wavelock's "Super Tech Mirror" is the world's top-selling bright
metallic tape for automotive molding. The tape utilizes the same metallic luster
film used in molding for windshield and exterior parts, allowing automobile manufacturers
to reduce both manufacturing cost and the weight of the vehicle. This tape has
been earning high praise not only from Japanese manufacturers, but also from consumers
in the U.S. and Korea.

Coating equipment
The department handles electrodeposition- and powder-type coating equipment for
iron and steel products, as well as all types of coating equipment for plastic
products. With an extensive record of achievement in providing coating plants
on a full-turnkey basis to overseas clients, the department coordinates with local
manufacturers to ensure local procurement of parts and equipment.

 Plastic
welders
KBK offers five different kinds of plastic welders: hot plate, vibration, spin,
friction, and ultrasonic. Based on the type of plastic used, the shape of the
welded object, and the product's design specifications, clients can select the
type of welder that best suits their welding needs. |
