KBK's Advanced Materials Department handles a unique
selection of products incorporating the latest in materials technology
that are applied to a broad range of different fields. These include
carbon fiber products ranging from golf club shafts and tennis
rackets to aircraft parts; composite material based equipment;
acoustic-absorbing, heat-resistant, super-lightweight foam polyimides;
high-temperature anti-seize compounds; and volatile corrosion
inhibitors.
In the field of multimedia, the Advanced Materials Department
deals in production facilities, testing equipment, and materials
for a variety of optical disc recording media, including CD, CD-R,
CD-RW, MO, MD, DVD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, and DVD-RAM. The department
is also ready to provide assistance and guidance on any of a number
of issues and concerns, including technology transfer.
