KBK was established on November 27, 1947, by members of the machinery and trade divisions of the former Mitsui & Co. It began operation the same month, as a trading company specializing in machinery, under the name Kyokuto Boeki Kaisha Ltd. Please see the “History” page for details.
KBK’s shares are listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The shares were previously listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, but were designated for listing on the First Section in March 2000.
